Favorite son from New Jersey had his voice insured for $6 million (according to Time) . He is well known for hits like “Born to Run” or “Dancing in the Dark”. Has also had a slew of platinum and gold albums which are totaled in the double digits numbers.
The rocknroll superstar took out his insurance policy with Lloyd’s from London as his safety net in case if he ever lost or severely damaged his voice. According to Business Week, Lloyds of London could not disclose the exact time he took out the insurance policy, but they note that there are some articles dating back to 1988 on this topic.
