That's not any typo, folks. Mariah Carey really recently insured her beautiful gams for one-kicking-billion dollars. The insurance policy was taken out right after Mariah was awarded her Gillette's "Legs of a Goddess" award and as a spokesperson said, "the sum reflects her popularity." To further more reflect her legs' popularity, Gillette company had an extremely  bizarre statue of her legs made to commemorate what really must be the biggest one award ever in her career of one of the best-selling female musicians of all time.

The rocknroll superstar took out his insurance policy with Lloyd’s from London as his safety net in case if he ever lost or severely damaged his voice. According to Business Week,  Lloyds of London could not disclose the exact time he took out the insurance policy, but they note that there are some articles dating back to 1988 on this topic.

The insurance policy covered his sense of taste, and was guaranteed payment if he had lost it. He died in 2010 at age 94.

After starring in the reality show called Girls Next Door, she became famous for her body and specially for her chest. She took this decision about breasts insurance because of her topless starring role in the Peepshow (Las Vegas show), according to People magazine.

"I have heard about people having body parts insured, and  so I thought, why not? Because if something happened to my boobs, I would be out for a couple of months and I would probably be out a million dollars, so I thought I'd cover my assets," she told People.
